Ahimsa Yoga acknowledges the land on which our studios operate. For many thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of Turtle Island’s First Nations, Canada’s indigenous people, including the Huron-Wenday, the Seneca, the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), and the Mississaugas. This land is still the home to many indigenous people and we are grateful to have the opportunity to teach yoga on this land. As a part of our commitment to honouring this land, we strive to use the most environmentally responsible business practices available.
